Stitchin' in Public - L.A. Style

Yarn Bombs by Suzette and Ellen at the #WeHoSnB

Saturday was World Wide Stitch in Public Day. It's really called World Wide KNIT in Public Day, but I like to include all fiber/needle arts, so we STITCH together in public with thousands of other stitchers around the world on this day, usually the second Saturday in June. Check out this LINK to see more people participating!

I started my stitching day with the West Hollywood Stitch 'n Bitch at the Original Farmers Market, 3rd and Fairfax. We meet every month on the second Saturday. Suzette and I brought a few decorations, along with donuts. We had a fine time!

After a quick lunch break and some errands, I zipped down to Santa Monica for my afternoon stitch group at The Coffee Bean in Ocean Park. We are the Ocean Park Fiber Artists. We meet every Saturday afternoon from 3-5pm.

At each event, a few people stopped by our tables and asked what we were doing. We always like to promote stitching to the world!
